You are welcomed by the team of high school students of Toretsk school number 6. We have a lot of ideas, non-standard thoughts, our own generation Z philosophy.
We are worried about the question: how to make the streets of our hometown friendlier for children?
In our school we have a course on demand «Math in 3D». We work with great satisfaction with metal and wood constructions on this subject. We get the opportunity to show our creativity by making and investigating our models. The next step in construction for us is creating of radio-electronic models and devices.
We want to engage the students of 3-4 and 7-8 classes in our laboratory. Their interests are often limited by computer games. We will show them an alternative to “gambling” which captures all their free time.
Students will create their own vision of a safe city with our help in design laboratory. Together, we will be able to simulate situations of safe behavior in the street; in public places, at home, on the road, on the playgrounds and athletic fields, as well as in the places of recreation. In addition, we will find answers to many questions about those services that make our lives safe in the city. Just to tell is one thing but to construct is a completely different one. You can make models and devices by yourselves and demonstrate their interaction.
At first in Designer-Lab will study about 60 students. And this number will grow by and by.
In our school the atmosphere of creative search, inspiration, and inventions will dominate, exhibitions and presentations of our vision of a safe city model will take place. We encourage our classmates to practical research activities.
Project implementation engages to activities all the community of students, teachers, school administration and parents. It is the experimental way to achieve the engineering competence and the culture of project management. Our parents do all they can to support us. Thanks to them we have already got the part of connects. Іt inspires us to further development!

The project was developed within the educational program «Eastern Meetings» and with the support of the UCBI II Project that is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in 14 cities of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions.
