Hi, my dear friends, colleagues and just good people!
I am Irina. I am а Craft teacher. I want to tell you about the history of our project.
The first trip I organized was in the Zakarpattya region, a thousand kilometers from my native land. There we studied the culture and traditions of the local population. Сhildren were impressed by folk crafts and artistic crafts: weaving, artistic wood processing, pysankas, pottery and much more at one of excursions.
Many of my students were interested in various arts and decided to create a creative, accessible space for everyone to help them realize their dreams.
The idea of the project is to know the folk crafts and arts crafts, aimed at preparing a young person for an adult life. The project promotes the creative potential of children, provides for events and the revival of the traditions of Azov, Donetsk region and Ukraine, new technologies of decorative and applied art, modern design trends.
Our project will be accessible to many: both boys and girls, both small and adult.
There is no possibility free of charge to engage in handicrafts in our city, does not have such creative spaces, where employments will be conducted free of charge by volunteers, leaders of student’s self-government and gifted children.
For some years our parents, real masters, have been conducting master classes for students from the different types of art. Also, we carry out additional classes, carry out project activities and apply art therapy as a special form of psychotherapy, psycho-correction and personality development, based on creative self-expression through various forms of art.
We prepare children for participation in contests of regional, all-Ukrainian and international level, subject competitions. We have many winners. It would be desirable that every child participates, shows his wonderful results and contributes to the revival of the traditions of his region, region and all Ukraine.
How will the project develop further?
First of all, we need to save, to revive and popularize folk-crafts and artistic trades
To do this, my team will be interested in children for different types of art. First we will take several types: weaving, artistic woodworking and drawing. Then we will gradually add other types of art: Easter egg, pottery and others. Let’s get acquainted with the traditions of different parts of Ukraine. Then, we will participate in contests of the regional, all-Ukrainian and international level and subject competitions.
We see results and believe that for every child the creative world must be an integral part of learning and personal development.
We will be able to reveal the creative potential of children. Each child will learn how to make things with his own hands that could be given to someone from his or her family or friends. The thing executed by the hands is considered in fact more expensive and warmer, than that was purchased for money. This creative space will become the place of cooperation between teachers, students and parents.
In order to realize this project, the child must be provided with the necessary comfortable conditions and means for training, education and creative inspiration. To do this, we need:
